Does it work with light-weight material?
Absolutely! The EcoStretch Roll was specifically designed to gently spread even the thinnest materials, such as BOPP film 4 μm.
Does it work for low or high tension?
Both! There is a maximum tension near 4 PLI where the ESR becomes less effective. Contact us for more details about your specific application.
Can it be used in slitting applications?
The ESR can be a great alternative to a bowed roller, with up to five (5) slits for specific applications.
Can it be used in food packaging?
The TPE Rings used for the ESR meet the US CFR 21 FDA (raw material conformity) regulation (EU) Nr. 10/2011 • EN71-3
How does it differ from a brush roller?
The same inventor of the Brush Roller re-invented the ESR to make sure it did not:
- Puncture lightweight material
- Leave marks on material
- Leave a center "deadzone"
The ESR is efficient and gentle, smoothing creases for all kinds of web materials.
